E L L I E   T E N N A N T

I’m a London-based freelance interiors journalist, stylist and author. I specialise in all things home-related, with particular expertise in design, vintage and lifestyle areas. I regularly write interviews, features, columns and news pages for leading home interest titles.

My first book, Design Bloggers at Home, which I wrote and styled for publisher Ryland Peters & Small, was published in April 2014. My latest book, Chic Boutiquers at Home, was published in October 2015.

My features have been published in a range of publications, including: The Observer Magazine (The Guardian), Homes & Antiques magazine, LivingEtc magazine, Country Homes & Interiors magazine, Style At Home magazine, Delicious magazine, Ideal Home magazine, Apartment Therapy (USA) website, The National newspaper, Homemaker magazine, Closer magazine, House to Home website, Real Homes magazine, Good Homes magazine, Psychologies magazine, Grand Designs magazine, Homes & Gardens magazine, The Sunday Times newspaper, Lost in London quarterly, The Simple Things magazine, Mollie Makes magazine, UKTV, Kitchens Bedrooms and Bathrooms magazine and Woman’s Weekly magazine.

Commercial clients to date include: Cath Kidston, Dunelm Mill, Heal’sInteriors UK, Procter & Gamble, IPC Creative and Tesco. I have edited interiors and lifestyle titles for book publishers such as Anova Books and Prestel Publishing.

I live in an Oxfordshire village and divide my time between London and the countryside. My husband and I are renovating an Edwardian cottage, so that’s keeping us busy…
