I’ve admired the Sheila Bownas archive (owned by Chelsea Cefai AKA Flora Dora) before – it’s packed full of 200 gorgeous textile designs from the 1950s-1980s, which lay undiscovered until Cefai bought them in an auction and started to produce fabrics, prints and postcards last year. It seems Charlie Gladstone is a fan, too; He’s chosen one of the archive designs, ‘Pip’, to create an exclusive range of accessories for his mail order emporium, Pedlars…
This graphic apple pattern will feature on mugs (£10.50 each), double deck chairs (£495) and folding stools (£199) and will launch at Pedlars next week on Friday 27th April.
